Time Management : Launch Pad
STRATEGY: Launch Pad

Creating and using a “Launch Pad” enables us to get out the door ON TIME.

If you are like most LD/ADD people, trying to get out the door on time is a stressful event.
Can you remember the last time you were trying to leave, but could not find the car keys? Your schoolwork? Your watch?

To avoid this “last-minute-stress”, implement the use of a LAUNCH PAD in your life.
"A launching pad is a place, conveniently located near the door, where all items are kept that family members need to ‘launch’ into their day” (Holberg and Nedaen, 2002).

The key to the launch pad working is:
Strict entering the house rules- As soon as you enter the house, ‘Launch-pad’ items are to be placed in the launch pad.

By having these items consistently in the same place, you are less apt to increase your stress, BY BEING LATE, at the start of your day.
